Fileza guide
Remove EXIF, GPS and document metadata
Fileza Metadata Remover removes EXIF privacy data from photos, including GPS coordinates, camera make and model, author, copyright and capture dates. It also cleans supported XMP and IPTC fields, keywords and descriptive comments. Inspect first to see field names without exposing their private values, then choose cleanup settings for your files.
Clean 46 supported extensions across JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, GIF, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF, SVG, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF, video and audio. Document cleanup removes properties and supported revision or comment identities. PDF cleanup uses a full rewrite. Optional embedded-content cleanup and PDF attachment or media cover-art removal give you more control.
Quality checks protect image pixels, animation timing, colour profiles and display orientation. Office text, tables, formulas, charts and pictures remain editable. Audio and video use stream copying and encoded payload verification without re-encoding. Essential technical information remains where it supports correct display or playback.
Live activity shows elapsed time, per-file stages and batch completion counts, with cancellation available. Add files separately and receive duplicate-safe ZIPs with reports. Strict cleanup blocks known unverified content. Review retained data and limits: visible content, macros or unsupported embedded resources can still identify a file. Download, share or save results to history under your server storage and retention settings.
